Organization's History

Yayasan Pelita Sejahtera Abadi is a nonprofit organization based in Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia. The organization is dedicated to promoting education and social development in rural areas. Founded in January 2024, Yayasan Pelita Sejahtera Abadi operates a mobile library that travels around Batam, providing books and literature to children who have an interest in reading.

Yayasan Pelita Sejahtera Abadi was established by Mr. Maradu Siburian, Mr. Douglas J Manurung, Mr. Fresly Sihombing, and Mr. Hermanto Manurung. These individuals recognized the need to address the educational disparities and lack of social opportunities in rural areas of Kota Batam. With their shared passion for education and community development, they came together to form the organization and build a mobile library as a means to provide educational resources and promote reading among children.
